Full Job Description
The Opportunity:

The Senior FP&A Operations Analyst plays a high-impact role in a private equity-backed, tech-enabled SaaS and services organization. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive ARR growth, improve service profitability, and deliver actionable insights that fuel value creation and EBITDA expansion.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and data, combining rigorous financial planning with deep operational analytics. The ideal candidate brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, helping scale financial processes while influencing key business decisions. This is a hybrid role based in our Denver office, with in-office collaboration required two days per week.

About You:

You are a highly analytical, curious, and proactive finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You don't just report numbers-you connect financial outcomes to operational drivers and influence better decisions.

You are equally comfortable building complex models, digging into large datasets, and presenting clear, concise insights to senior leadership. You enjoy working in ambiguity, building in "white space," and continuously improving how things are done.

You bring a strong sense of ownership, a bias toward action, and the ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture thinking. You are a trusted partner to stakeholders and operate with both rigor and business acumen.

We are committed to investing in your development and are looking for someone who will invest in OrthoFi-helping us achieve our mission of supporting one million smiles a year.

About the Role:

FP&A & Value Creation

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across SaaS (ARR, bookings, retention) and services (utilization, pricing, margins)
  • Drive variance analysis with clear, data-backed insights on revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA performance
  • Support private equity requirements, including board materials, lender reporting, and KPI tracking

SaaS & Services Performance Management

  • Analyze and operationalize key SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, NRR, CAC, LTV)
  • Monitor and improve services performance (utilization, capacity, project margins, backlog)
  • Partner with GTM, Customer Success, and Operations to optimize pricing, resource allocation, and growth efficiency

Operational Business Partnering

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to department leaders and executive leadership
  • Translate operational activities (pipeline, hiring, pricing, utilization) into financial outcomes
  • Support pipeline analytics, bookings forecasts, and capacity planning

Data, Reporting & Executive Communication

  • Build and enhance dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business performance
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, delivering insights vs. plan and key drivers
  • Present clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership and PE stakeholders

Financial Modeling & Strategic Analysis

  • Develop scenario models to support growth investments, hiring plans, and pricing strategies
  • Evaluate ROI on strategic initiatives and identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin expansion
  • Support M&A efforts, including diligence, integration modeling, and synergy tracking

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Improve forecasting accuracy and reporting scalability as the company grows
  • Partner with data/BI teams to enhance reporting infrastructure
  • Support utilization and optimization of FP&A tools (e.g., Vena, Intacct)

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5-8+ years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, or analytical roles in high-growth or PE-backed environments
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including cohort analysis and unit economics
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Experience in SaaS and/or services-based business models
  • Proven ability to translate data into insights and influence decision-making

Even Better If:

  • Experience working in a private equity-backed environment or high-growth company
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, NRR, CAC/LTV)
  • Experience supporting board-level reporting and executive presentations
  • Familiarity with data tools (SQL, Snowflake) or modern finance stacks
  • Experience with FP&A tools (Vena, Adaptive) and Salesforce

What's in it for you:

  • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Flexible PTO
  • Employer HSA contribution
  • 9 Company Paid holidays
  • 401(k) match, 3% after 90 days of employment
  • Supportive culture with one-of-a-kind growth opportunities
  • Hybrid in-office and work at home (2 days in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays)
  • Paid Parental Leave as well as a two-week "ease-back" program that enables parents to return part-time at full pay
  • Company and team outings
  • Peer-to-peer recognition program
  • Vendor discounts
