Summary

Are you a highly driven and analytical finance professional with a passion for strategic planning and driving financial performance? We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in leading the forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning cycles for CCS, a dynamic $4 billion global market segment.

In this high-impact position, you will be instrumental in building strong partnerships across our broader finance, supply chain, and customer teams. Your expertise will be crucial in deciphering the key dynamics influencing CCS's financial results, pinpointing areas for improvement, and identifying opportunities to mitigate risks and enhance overall financial performance. You will also lead critical quantitative and qualitative analysis to support key customer negotiations.

Detailed Description

Tasks performed includes but not limited to, the following:
  • Lead the development of the annual operating plan (AOP), including establishing timelines, guiding sites on key assumptions, assisting with target setting, facilitating alignment meetings, and preparing and presenting the AOP deck to the CCS leadership team.
  • Drive the development of CCS's comprehensive 3-year strategic plan and associated presentation materials.
  • Leads the development of CCS's monthly executive review package including co-ordinating with the cross functional team on required materials & the development of several financial pages including commentary and variance analysis.
  • Leads the development of the quarterly board presentation & Investor's Relation's package.
  • Supports the analysis for key customer negotiations as required.
  • Other duties as assigned to drive cash or profit improvements.

Typical Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant finance experience.


Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree; an Accounting designation is preferred.


Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
  • Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc)
  • Occasional overnight travel is required


Salary

The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.

Salary Range: $125,000-$175,000 CAD/year
