Role Overview:

ATI Forged Products is seeking a strategic finance leader who thrives at the intersection of operations, analytics, and business partnership. This is a highly visible role responsible for shaping financial performance across a multi-site, global Business Unit. The Senior Finance Manager of FP&A will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving operational insights, disciplined decision-making, and continuous improvement across a complex, growth-oriented manufacturing organization.

The Senior Finance Manager of FP&A will oversee the FP&A processes for our North America Forged Products Business Unit, which spans sites in Cudahy, Appleton, and Coon Valley, WI; Irvine, CA; and Chihuahua, Mexico. Based in Cudahy, WI, this role reports directly to the VP Finance, ATI Forge Products and provides leadership to 1 direct report and has daily interactions with other FP&A teams across the ATI organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will lead the following key financial and organizational activities.

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
  • Provide forward-looking financial insights and recommendations to the BU VP Finance, BU President, and senior operations leaders that shape strategy and drive performance.
  • Partner with site and functional leaders to translate operational trends into financial impacts and actionable plans.
  • Lead the development of proactive business analyses that highlight risks, opportunities, and required course-corrections.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner for strategic initiatives, productivity efforts, and investment decisions.

Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Performance Management
  • Lead the annual operating plan, quarterly and monthly forecasts, and long-range financial planning for the BU.
  • Build and maintain driver-based forecasting models that enhance accuracy and enable scenario planning for the BU.
  • Deliver clear monthly performance analytics, including variance explanations, trend insights, and KPI reporting.
  • Provide analysis of margin performance, price/volume/mix, operational cost drivers and productivity initiatives.
  • Support capital planning and business cases by evaluating financial returns, sensitivity impacts, and alignment to strategic priorities.

Financial Systems, Tools & Process Improvement
  • Enhance FP&A processes and tools to improve forecast accuracy, analytical depth, and reporting efficiency.
  • Champion the adoption of advanced analytics, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
  • Partner with corporate FP&A and IT to drive system improvements and ensure data consistency across planning and reporting platforms.
  • Lead or support BU-wide process improvement initiatives that strengthen financial insight and operational decision-making.

Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance manager supporting the Cudahy site.
  • Set clear analytical and communication standards that elevate the quality and strengthen business engagement.
  • Foster a collaborative, forward-looking, high-performance culture focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Make talent decisions that build analytical strength, modeling capabilities, and strong succession pipelines.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with strong understanding of standard costing, cost drivers, and product cost visibility.
  • Proven ability to generate, interpret, and communicate income statements, balance sheets, revenue forecasts, and cash flow statements.
  • Highly skilled in managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex financial and operational problems through data-driven analysis and structured thinking.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting methodologies, and analytical tools (Excel, BI/dashboard tools, etc.).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational trends into financial impacts and actionable insights.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex financial topics to non-finance stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting in an industrial manufacturing or services environment with 2+ years of managerial experience required.
  • US GAAP experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • CPA is strongly preferred
