About the Role

Facet is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst with a strong background in financial modeling and economic analysis to maintain our financial model and update our financial plans and budgets. Reporting directly to the FP&A Director, you will play a critical role in translating large data sets into digestible insights, support future fundraising initiatives, and leverage modern AI-enabled tools to accelerate decision support. This is a critical, high-impact role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in changing an industry.

What You'll Do
Financial Modeling & Operations
  • Model Maintenance: Refine and maintain Facet's core company financial model, utilizing extensive financial modeling to translate complex operating models into a consolidated cash flow model.
  • Strategic ROI & Ad Hoc Analysis: Assist cross-functional teams with ad hoc financial analyses to evaluate ROI on key initiatives and directly inform overall business strategy.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Elevate financial reporting across the company by building KPI dashboards and creating monthly board presentations.
  • AI & Automation: Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate ad hoc analysis, reporting, and decision support.


Leadership & Analytics
  • Data Translation: Translate large, complex data sets into easily digestible analyses to present directly to management and the Board of Directors.
  • Thought Leadership: Work with the FP&A Director to provide strategic thought leadership and analysis that identifies meaningful trends and growth opportunities across the business.

Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven analytical experience in an FP&A, valuation, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic finance role.
  • Expert Financial Modeling: Expert-level financial modeling skills-specifically building three-statement financial models, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and cash flow models.
  • Education: BA/BS or Master's degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, business, or a related discipline.
  • Transaction Experience: Previous buy-side or sell-side transaction experience is highly preferred.
  • Data Presentation & Storytelling: Experience presenting complex numbers in a consumable form, translating financial metrics into digestible graphic or narrative formats.
  • AI & Tech Savvy: Comfort leveraging AI and automation with a keen interest in continuously improving how finance operates.
  • Execution & Ownership: Detail-oriented with a proven ability to produce exceptional deliverables, work independently, and own projects end-to-end.
  • Project Management & Availability: Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, with the flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week and weekends as needed.
  • Growth Mindset: Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high motivation to learn about all aspects of a high-growth business.
