Full Job Description
What will you be doing?

SIU is seeking candidates to fill a Senior Forensic Audit Manager (SFAM) vacancy. The SFAM is responsible for implementing forensic audit plans within the geographic region to which they are assigned. The position also requires management of Forensic Auditors and Forensic Audit Managers. Forensic Audits are conducted on public entities that have committed fraud with tax payer dollars. This includes, but is not limited to obtaining an understanding of client internal controls and financial procedures, implementing AOS approach for performing forensic audits, executing fraud detection techniques, preparing audit summaries, and preparing audit comments and findings.

Location:

The SIU is currently seeking to fill one vacancy throughout the Northeast Region of Ohio. Case assignments will mostly be in the following counties: Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Summit, Portage, Geauga, Lake, Ashtabula and Trumbull.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 or more years experience in external audit environment
  • Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
  • Experience with governmental financial accounting, reporting, and auditing is desirable and experience in fraud examination is a plus
  • Professional Certification as a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Fraud Examiner is a plus
