Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales revenue and customer analysis, including forecasting and budgeting
  • Collaborate with the sales team to track and predict sales volume and revenue
  • Submit constrained and unconstrained sales forecasts to the business unit
  • Generate monthly sales actual reports and revenue journal entries
  • Analyze freight and other revenue passthroughs
  • Ensure compliance with month-end cut-off procedures in adherence to IFRS 15
  • Assist in monthly forecasting, annual budgets, and long-term strategic revenue planning
  • Prepare monthly customer reconciliations
  • Engage with internal and external auditors as needed
  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Finance teams

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will play an integral role on the finance team, working through complex issues, transactions, and projects independently as well as collaboratively with other finance and cross functional team members. Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Planning Analyst include sales revenue and customer analysis, including forecast and budget, identifying reporting issues and suggesting improvements, maintaining internal controls.
  • Works with sales team to track and forecast sales volume and revenue
  • Submits constrained and unconstrained sales forecast to business unit
  • Generates monthly sales actual report and revenue journal entries
  • Analysis of freight and other revenue passthroughs. (PPI, magnesium, etc.)
  • Responsible for month-end cut-off procedures in compliance with IFRS 15
  • Assists with monthly forecasting, annual budgets, and long-term strategic planning with regard to revenue.
  • Prepares monthly customer reconciliations.
  • Other ad hoc financial and sales analysis
  • Interacts with internal and external auditors as necessary
  • Serves as link between Sales team and Finance team
  • Other duties as needed


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of 3years of experience in Accounting and Finance
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software with strong focus in Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP system in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Exposure to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) helpful.
  • Demonstrates results orientation, accountability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, project and change management and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills sufficient to communicate with all levels of the organization, high level of autonomy with ability to work collaboratively and good interpersonal skills

Constellium Muscle Shoals is an aluminum manufacturing plant based in Alabama with over 1,200 employees. With its widest strip mill in the USA and a world-class recycling center, the site represents one of the largest sites within Constellium and is a world-class can recycling center, with the capacity to recycle nearly 20 billion cans per year. Muscle Shoals' main product is aluminum can sheet for the packaging industry, particularly for beverage containers. It manufactures sheet used in all three components of an aluminum can, namely body stock, coated end stock and tab stock.
