Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Systems Specialist to design, develop, maintain, and enhance FP&A planning, reporting, and analytics solutions supporting financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business performance.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and reporting, including planning models, stories and dashboards, input/writeback layouts, advanced formulas, data actions, scripting, and user-facing interfaces. You will also support the broader FP&A analytics ecosystem, including SAP, Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, and related data and BI tools.

We are seeking a senior individual contributor who combines financial acumen, analytical skills, and technical expertise to translate complex Finance and FP&A requirements into scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve FP&A systems and processes.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Influence end-to-end FP&A planning and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario and variance analysis, management and KPI reporting, business performance, and month-end reporting
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions and ensure data integrity, usability, and connectivity across SAC, SAP, Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, and related tools
  • Design, build, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot SAC Planning and reporting solutions, including models, stories, dashboards, writeback layouts, planning views, formulas, scripting, data actions, allocations, calculations, planning logic, forecasting workflows, automation, and financial reports
  • Lead delivery of SAC planning and reporting enhancements aligned with the FP&A calendar and business priorities. Maintain documentation, standards, governance, and technical recommendations to improve scalability, usability, quality, and efficiency
  • Develop user guides and training materials and provide expert and train-the-trainer support to FP&A power users and Finance stakeholders to drive adoption and self-service


Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field, with 10+ years of progressive experience in financial systems, FP&A analytics, BI, data analytics, or related areas, including 3+ years of advanced hands-on SAC Planning and reporting experience. SAP SAC certification preferred
  • Advanced hands-on expertise in SAC Planning and reporting, including Optimized Story/Design Experience, advanced formulas, scripting, data actions, calculations, allocations, multi-actions, predictive planning, automation, and dashboard interactivity
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes, financial data flows, planning dependencies, reporting hierarchies, data validation, reconciliation, SAC connections, and broader BI/data tools. Proven ability to translate complex Finance requirements into scalable planning, reporting, analytics, and UI solutions
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven capabilities in documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical communication

The annual salary for this job ranges from:
$101,300.00 - $151,900.00

STEMCELL determines an individual's pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
