Job PurposeThe PSP Sales and Profit Reporting Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading and supervising the financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities (monthly, quarterly, annual, and mid-term) for assigned AHM PSP business areas, which may include powersports, power equipment, or a combination of PSP segments. This includes profitability analysis for gross profit, SG&A, and model profitability while ensuring compliance with company and government policies and regulations (IFRS, US GAAP, SOX, etc.), as well as providing business intelligence through analysis of financial performance and future projections based on cost and revenue activities, including production, sales, sales incentives, and inventory.
Key Accountabilities - Forecasts, including explanation of key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended countermeasures.
- Serve as the cross-functional financial advisor and subject matter expert for assigned PSP segment leadership, providing guidance on gross profit, SG&A, model profitability, sales incentives, inventory, production, and sales-related financial impacts.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, SOX compliance, and financial statement integrity for assigned PSP segment reporting, including review and/or approval of journal entries and financial results with significant impact to AHM financial statements
- Lead and supervise assigned PSP Sales & Profit associate(s), including goal setting, training, coaching, workload prioritization, quality review, performance input, and associate development.
- Lead continuous improvement of forecasting, reporting, analytical tools, controls, and management reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision support. Design and Develop tools including reports, forms, and charts to allow for more efficient and effective analysis of financial performance.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or Related Business Field with additional revenant experience.
Minimum Experience- 6 - 8 years of relevant professional financial experience.
- 3 years supervising other financial professionals.
- Related Degrees - 2 additional years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, or business analytics.
Other Job-Specific Skills- Analytical, organizational, problem solving, self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with data structure (Essbase and SAP/BPC).
- Skills in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to apply accounting theory (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)) to transactions.
- Ability to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment.
