Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst - US Distribution within the MedTech DePuy Synthes organization. DePuy Synthes is the world's leading orthopedics company, with approximately $9B in annual revenue across multiple platforms. This role can be based in any of the following DePuy Synthes office locations in the United States: West Chester, Pennsylvania; Raynham, Massachusetts; Raritan, New Jersey; Warsaw, Indiana; Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for tracking the organization's financial performance and offering financial guidance to Distribution business partners. Additionally, they will ensure that financial commitments are met by advising distribution, warehousing, and transportation teams in budget management and resource allocation while proactively identifying opportunities to optimize expenditures and capital investments. This role requires completing financial forecasts (BP, JU, NU, Latest Thinkings), reporting, and analysis of complex financial data that will help influence decision and set strategy. Support of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including consolidation, analysis, and reporting is required. The candidate must have demonstrated strong processional judgement as the role is accountable for maintaining strong compliance discipline. Financial priorities include market share and gross profit improvement, lowering the cost to serve, and improved utilization of investments in inventory and instruments.

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the Global Distribution Finance leadership team, and the position offers high visibility across senior leadership teams.

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance; an MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance business experience is required, with strong technical finance capabilities and demonstrated business partnership.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to think creatively, work effectively in a team environment, and anticipate changing business requirements across a large, complex landscape is required.
  • The individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated digital fluency, including the ability to leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to improve decision-making, drive productivity, and enable business transformation, is required.
  • This role can be based in any of the following DePuy Synthes office locations in the United States: West Chester, Pennsylvania; Raynham, Massachusetts; Raritan, New Jersey; Warsaw, Indiana; Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This position can be based in any DePuy Synthes office in the US and requires approximately 10% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
