Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team, focusing on our Contact Center operations. This role is critical in driving efficiency, streamlining financial processes, and providing insightful analytics to Senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be adept at simplifying complex financial data and communicating it effectively to various stakeholders. This position offers significant exposure to Senior leadership and the opportunity to make a substantial impact on our business.
Responsibilities
  • Streamline financial processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within the Contact Center.
  • Improve financial reporting and reduce manual efforts, dedicating more time to in-depth analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive year-over-year analysis, variance analysis, and develop clear explanations to illustrate financial performance and changes.
  • Prepare and present complex financial information and strategic insights to Senior leadership, including directors and VPs.
  • Operate effectively and make sound decisions in ambiguous and dynamic environments.
  • Work with large and often ambiguous datasets, extracting meaningful insights and ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal partners to support financial objectives.

Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Financial Analyst or a similarly demanding financial role.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex financial information and processes.
  • Experience in effectively presenting financial data and storytelling to diverse audiences, including Senior leadership.
  • Comfortable and experienced in dealing with large and ambiguous datasets.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and utilizing Pivot Tables, formulas, and lookups.
  • Experience in developing and presenting financial walks (explaining cost changes, growth, investments year-over-year).
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is desirable.
  • Experience in financial business partnering, accounting, business analysis, financial modeling, financial reporting, and financial planning & analysis.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including presenting to high-level stakeholders and the executive team.

Work Environment
The position requires working 5 days a week in the office. The standard work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility (7 AM to 4 PM). The work week consists of 40 hours, with no overtime expected. The company offers an environment with an analytics team that supports skill development, various committees, and social events like BBQs and holiday parties. The company supports a healthy work-life balance and offers 3 weeks of vacation to start, with 5 personal days each calendar year.
