JOB PURPOSEThe Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the month-end close process, account reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Technical and Corporate Accounting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial results
- Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for assigned areas
- Monitor balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigate variances, and resolve accounting issues
- Review accounts receivable aging with shared service center to identify past due items and drive resolution
- Coordinate the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes for corporate functions
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed for the corporate accounting and corporate reporting teams
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal control requirements
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in public accounting
- Master's degree or CPA qualification is a plus
- SAP and OneStream experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Strong initiative to improve processes and gain efficiency while maintaining objectives
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Highly driven / self-starter
