We are seeking an experienced
Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning & analysis (FP&A), operational reporting, and strategic decision-making in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
Position OverviewThe Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for
financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close support, and executive reporting. This role partners closely with Accounting and Operations to drive performance, improve processes, and deliver actionable financial insights.
This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP&A) processes
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models and scenario analysis
- Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year)
- Support month-end close in partnership with Accounting
- Prepare executive-level reporting for Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Analyze margins, inventory valuation (moving average costing), and operational KPIs
- Improve financial reporting systems, dashboards, and ERP processes
- Support internal controls and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
- Identify process improvements and implement scalable reporting solutions
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity operations
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:- Experience with ERP systems such as IFS, Epicor (Prophet 21/Eagle), BI tools, or similar
- GAAP knowledge
- Experience supporting operations and inventory analysis
