The RoleWe are seeking a
Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic business partner to our Services organization. This is a forward-looking, insight-driven role - not a reporting function. You will move beyond compiling data to telling the story behind the numbers, partnering directly with operational and field leadership to drive smarter decisions, improve profitability, and support long-range planning.
We are building a finance team that thinks like analysts and operates like technologists. In this role, you are not just a consumer of data - you are the architect of financial insight for your business unit.
Responsibilities Include:WHAT YOU'LL DO- Business Partnering & Commercial Finance
- Serve as the primary finance partner to services leadership, providing financial guidance that directly influences business decisions
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for operational stakeholders at all levels - including executive audiences
- Support deal economics, margin analysis, and pricing decisions in partnership with Sales and Services teams
- Build trusted relationships with business unit leaders to understand operational drivers and embed financial thinking into day-to-day decisions
- Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning
- Own the monthly and long-range forecast for assigned business areas, using driver-based assumptions developed in collaboration with operational leaders
- Lead the annual budget process for assigned coverage areas - developing the initial bottoms-up build and iterating through the approval cycle
- Conduct scenario analysis and "what-if" modeling to support strategic decisions and long-range planning
- Continuously improve financial models with dynamic inputs that reflect current business realities
- Review and maintain headcount forecasts for assigned territories in alignment with operational plans
- Performance Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and publish monthly variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior year - with clear narrative on key drivers and business trends
- Identify patterns in financial and operational data that signal strengthening or weakening performance, and proactively surface findings to leadership
- Design and maintain executive-ready presentations and ad hoc analyses to support leadership reviews and strategic discussions
- Track and report on KPIs and operational metrics, translating results into meaningful feedback that can be used to manage and forecast the business
- Data, Analytics & AI - Own the Intelligence Layer
- Serve as the owner of financial analytics for your business unit - designing, building, and continuously evolving the dashboards and reporting infrastructure that leadership relies on
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that deliver real-time insight on revenue, margin, forecast accuracy, and operational performance - replacing static spreadsheet decks with dynamic, self-service reporting
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, surface anomalies, and generate faster insights from large and complex data sets
- Automate recurring financial reports and manual processes, shifting your own time - and the team's - from data preparation toward interpretation, storytelling, and strategic support
- Standardize KPI frameworks and financial data definitions for your business area, ensuring consistency and integrity across all reporting outputs
- Serve as a thought leader within the finance team on analytics best practices, modern tooling, and the evolving role of AI in financial planning - helping raise the bar for how the team operates
- Work directly with source system owners and IT as needed to understand data pipelines, improve data quality, and expand the analytical capabilities available to the business
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEIn this role, success means your business partners trust you as a financial advisor - not just a report generator. You are embedded in the business, your forecasts are accurate and credible, and leadership makes better decisions because of the insight you bring to the table.
On the data and analytics side, success means you have materially changed how this team operates. Your dashboards have replaced manual slide decks. Your automated reports have freed up hours that now go toward deeper analysis. Your KPI metrics are the ones the business uses. And your comfort with AI tools has helped set a new standard for what modern commercial finance looks like at Presidio - one that others on the team are learning from and building toward.

- Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools (CoPilot, Claude, ChatGPT, etc), with a clear appetite to deepen and expand that capability
- Demonstrated ability to build driver-based financial models and scenario analyses
Strong business partnering instincts - comfortable presenting to and influencing operational leaders and executives - Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives for non-finance audiences
High bias for action, strong ownership mindset, and ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment - Proactive, curious orientation - someone who asks why before they ask what, and who sees gaps in data or process as problems worth solving
