Description

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team to support decision making and drive results. This role will work cross-functionally to provide actionable insights, develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and support continuous improvements of forecasting and analysis processes.

This role supports a team based in Delta, BC, but is fully remote and open to candidates located in Canada. Occasional travel to our Vancouver office and Delta facility is required. The position reports to the Head of FP&A Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor and business partner, providing clear financial insights, decision support, and strategic recommendations that improve outcomes
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that link operational performance to financial results, helping teams understand business drivers and trends
  • Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis processes, explaining performance drivers and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Support the development and coordination of the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial and business processes, enhance reporting accuracy and improve efficiency
  • Contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process as needed, providing financial context and analysis to support demand and supply planning
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support, leading special projects to support strategic initiatives and business requirements as required


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent working experience (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related analysis role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and clear business narratives
  • Highly skilled Excel user, developing scenario analysis and financial modelling
  • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and strategic context
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple deliverables
  • Goal oriented and continuous improvement focused, proactive and comfortable working in dynamitic high-growth environments
  • Proven track record of process improvement, automation, and optimization
  • Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across different functions and levels of the business


Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other relevant ERP systems
  • Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or CPG
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboarding through Power BI or similar visualization tools
  • Knowledge of Power Query for data transformation and automation
