The continued growth of Nicola Real Estate has led to the need for a Senior Financial Analyst, Real Estate Finance to join our dynamic and growing team.
Purpose of the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our high performing Real Estate Finance Team. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for financial analyses within various Real Estate portfolios. You will assist in enhancing our Yardi-based financial reporting, workflows and processes to improve insightful support to the Real Estate Finance Management Team. This is an on-site role based in Vancouver at our downtown Real Estate office.
Core Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the FP&A Manager and assist with the day-to-day Yardi operations, configurations and ongoing platform maintenance for Nicola Real Estate.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of Yardi modules and reporting solutions in alignment with Nicola Real Estate's strategic goals.
• Identify and assist with process improvement initiatives within Yardi to enhance data accuracy, reduce manual workflows and improve reporting efficiency across fund and property operations.
• Support the development of automated and standardized reporting processes to improve timeliness, accuracy, and consistency of financial and operational reporting.
• Partner with members of the Real Estate Team to translate business requirements into scalable reporting, analytics and system solutions.
• Collaborate with various Real Estate Team members to ensure the integrity, consistency and completeness of financial and operational data used for reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes through the extraction, validation and analysis of data from Yardi.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of related work experience with audit and/or real estate specific background preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, and an industry designation (CPA or CFA).
• Yardi software experience considered an asset
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Highly proficient in MS Word and Outlook.
• Experience in Tax (CAD and/or US) considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)

Compensation & Benefits Package:

This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of$85,000 - $105,000, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
