Full Job Description
Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as an accounting and finance professional partnering with onsite production in maintaining inventory reconciliation for milk and Greek yogurt, identification and monitoring of plant waste, and support the completion of the month-end accounting close. This will include: Plan and analyze Cost of Production, Identify & track cost improvement opportunities, and Timely and Accurate Completion of month-end activities.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Planning of Cost of Production. Collection, assimilation, transactional audit and analysis of Manufacturing financial information. Calculate variances to plan and forecast future cost.
  • Period End Close Activities: Complete on a weekly and monthly basis Chobani's milk reconciliation from raw milk receiving to Chobani Greek Yogurt. Monitor and track processing waste and identify and risks and opportunities.
  • Copilot: Acts as a financial liaison with members of production to identify risks and opportunities in processing, packaging, and FG Waste.
  • Working Capital Management: Assist with the tracking and monitoring of onsite inventory (FG, Raw Materials, & MRO Inventory) and monitor excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Compliance: Assist and support, with coordination of the controlling and operations team, year-end audit requirements with external auditors.
  • Projects: Assist in ad-hoc requests to support production and track key performance indicators


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree - preferably in finance or accounting
  • 3-5 years Finance Analyst experience (preferably in manufacturing or distribution center operation)
  • Intermediate to Advanced mathematical skills in order to perform moderately complex calculations
  • Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organization
  • Ability to stand, walk and/or sit continuously to perform necessary functions for an eight-plus hour shift.
  • Analytical thinking and detail orientated to be able to handle complex analysis and to prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability navigate SAP and create extracts.


The salary range for this full-time position is $74,500.00 - $117,700.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
