Full Job Description
The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for building Matalco's financial insight, business performance analytics, strategic finance support, and finance modernization capability. Reporting to the Corporate Controller and working closely with the CFO, plant finance leaders, operations, and commercial teams, this role will improve profitability insight, forecasting, business cases, performance reporting, and decision support while helping Matalco realize the full value of its NetSuite ERP and process investments. The role is intended for a hands-on builder who can move comfortably between detailed analysis and strategic recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • CPA/CFA strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • Experience developing business cases and investment analyses.
  • Business partnering, and operational decision-support experience.
  • ERP implementation experience with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, D365, or a similar system.
  • Experience supporting finance modernization or integration activity.
  • Strong financial modelling, business partnering, and operational decision-support experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and own Matalco's business performance and profitability analytics capability.
  • Develop product, customer, alloy, facility, and margin analysis, including price-volume-mix and working-capital analytics.
  • Standardize KPIs, site reporting, and executive dashboards; identify performance-improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a Finance lead supporting NetSuite implementation, reporting design, data governance, master-data standards, and process improvement.
  • Support AP and AR modernization and ongoing system optimization so Finance realizes measurable value from the ERP investment.
  • Serve as Matalco's central resource for financial modelling and strategic decision support.
  • Evaluate capital projects, investments, major commercial opportunities, procurement and operational initiatives, and acquisition or integration activity.
  • Complete scenario, sensitivity, and post-investment analyses in partnership with the CFO and business leaders.
  • Support annual planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and operational and commercial forecasting.
  • Build driver-based models and tools that improve forecast accuracy and forward-looking decision support.
  • Support monthly management reporting, close-related financial analysis, audits and controls, process documentation, and controllership projects.
  • Build broad knowledge of Matalco's finance organization and contribute to knowledge transfer and succession depth.


Travel to Matalco facilities and other business locations may be required to support implementation, planning, and strategic initiatives.

Workload may periodically increase during month-end, planning cycles, ERP implementation milestones, and strategic projects.

This is a net new role.
