Omaha, Nebraska (In-Office Position)

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst as part of our Financial Planning & Analysis team who combines strong financial knowledge with advanced analytics and reporting capabilities. This role serves as a strategic partner to corporate executives and business leaders, helping drive decision-making through financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and insightful dashboard reporting.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing financial data and developing Power BI dashboards for executive leadership and department leads. They understand the story behind the numbers and can translate data into actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. This role is in-office in Omaha, Nebraska.

Key Responsibilitie

  • Lead for corporate business partners to Corporate department owners regarding annual budgeting, monthly reporting, variance analysis, monthly forecasting, and assisting leaders to understand the financial "story"
  • Lead for executive company-level monthly management reporting for operations and corporate overhead. Communicates with Executive stakeholders on a regular, ongoing basis
  • Key contributor for various reporting to support Board of Director material preparation as well as Executive Leadership presentations
  • Collaborate with members of Finance, Accounting, Enterprise Data Operations, Hyperion, and Operations teams for process improvements, appropriate analyses, data validation and solutions for management reporting
  • Communicate financial results and business drivers clearly to non-financial partnersProvide our business partners accurate and timely financial reporting
    Analytics, Reporting and Business Intelligence
  • Partner with business leaders to define key performance indicators and develop supporting dashboards
  • Create intuitive visualizations and dashboards to provide insights to the Executive Leadership team and Corporate business partners
  • Balance usability, accuracy, performance and data relevance when designing and building dashboards
  • Transform datasets into concise, meaningful insights and visualizations
  • Ability to review, validate and troubleshoot any data source problems as part of building new dashboards
  • Special projects as assigned by supervisor, Financial Planning and Analysis Director, Chief Financial Officer and/or others

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and automate reporting
  • Support various data and system transformation processes
  • Document processes, reporting and define key metrics


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a large organization serving in a finance or accounting role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or applicable field
  • Advanced Power BI experience, including new dashboard development, data modeling and data visualization best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical as this role will interact directly with senior executives and all levels of management in operations, corporate and finance & accounting
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented, shows initiative and curiosity, questions the status quo and is always seeking process improvement and efficiencies in reporting.
  • Desire and willingness to dig into the details. Attention to detail is critical to deliver timely, quality and accurate management reporting
  • Self-starter and curiosity to seek innovative solutions and implement advanced analytics using AI tools
  • Must be able to present financial information to finance and non-financial users in a succinct and easily understandable manner
  • Experience with Oracle's E-Business Suite, Snowflake or other SQL based data platform, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Power Automate, Hyperion Cloud applications is a plus
