Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), with a focus on cost analysis or infrastructure spending.
  • Experience in SQL, complex financial modeling and large dataset analysis.
  • Ability to dissect complex financial and operational data, identify key drivers, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform rigorous financial analysis of Google One's TI costs, conducting deep dives into compute, storage, and network expenses to identify key drivers, trends, and efficiency opportunities.
  • Develop, refine, and manage methodologies for validating and integrating cost allocations from other product areas to Google One, ensuring accurate and defensible cost inflows impacting the P&L.
  • Contribute to multi-year, annual, and monthly planning and forecasting processes for Google One TI costs, developing robust financial models to predict future infrastructure spend.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and finance stakeholders to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to TI, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize spend.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and executive summaries on TI costs and cross-product area allocations, effectively communicating complex insights to senior leadership and fostering informed decision-making.
