Work you'll do:

The Sr. Data Analyst is responsible for verifying revenue recognition is correct by ensuring standard bill rate and cost rate data is up to date and accurate and that this data flows correctly to the general ledger and reporting systems. Ensuring the integrity of our rates with respect to revenue recognition is the mainstay of this role. The role also supports business leaders and partners, and client service teams Globally providing expertise, advice and data. Communicating business needs and appropriate options to achieve those needs in an efficient way as a trusted advisor to these groups, is a regular opportunity.
  • System rate changes and provide solutions for problems and changing business needs
  • Updates Rates including Standard, Local, Cost, and Non-discountable rates as needed, typically at calendar year begin, fiscal year begin, and personnel year begin
  • Provide assurance that rates are correct through regular review using established processes
  • Assist the job creation committee with respect to new jobs impact on financial postings
  • Serves as liaison between Technology and Finance, as the subject matter expert on Rate processes and impacts, to ensure systems and methods are correct and produce accurate results
  • Regularly perform various analysis to verify the appropriate rate was assigned, given employee and business attributes
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Finance, or related field.
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency (complex formulas, pivots, lookups).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with financial data concepts and revenue/rate calculations, including data validation, reporting, and quality controls.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience solving problems through analysis and attention to detail across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS OneNote.
  • SAP (including Analysis for Office) and other financial systems experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable partnering with senior leaders; self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented in a remote, global setting.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,200 - $110,200.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
