Full Job Description
The Canadian Tire FP&A team plays a critical role in enabling strong financial performance in an evolving retail environment. Reporting to the Manager, FP&A Petroleum & Partnerships, you will partner closely with the Petroleum team to understand results, deliver actionable insights, and influence business decisions.

This role combines financial analysis, business partnering, and storytelling with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and building scalable FP&A tools that enhance the quality and efficiency of our deliverables.

What you'll do

  • Manage and take ownership of the end to end forecasting and budgeting process by collaborating with the Petroleum business and other functional groups across the organization


  • Translate complex financial information into clear, insightful commentary for financial and non-financial stakeholders.


  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and support long-term outlook planning aligned to strategic priorities.


  • Build and enhance financial models that enable faster, more reliable, and more insightful analysis.


  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline reporting, forecasting, and month-end processes

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years business experience in an analytical field and solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements)


  • Familiarity with HFM, financial systems, or ERP environments considered an asset.


  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent


Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $80,000.00 and $90,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
