Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, Equity Compensation in New Brunswick, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to equity compensation programs while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.

Position Overview

The Savings Plan and Equity Compensation (SPEC) team is part of the Corporate Treasury function. Their mission is to provide best-in-class service and expertise to participants and business partners by managing the Global Long-Term Incentive Plan (Equity Awards), US Savings Plans (401K), and Treasury Stock Purchase Plan for Johnson & Johnson in accordance with GAAP, Plan documents, and government regulations.

The SPEC team is responsible for the global administration and accounting for the Savings Plans and Equity Award Plans that reach almost 50,000 current and former employees. This position is focused on data analytics, project management and execution, as well as reporting/reporting optimization across all the Equity Compensation Plans. This position will partner with Total Rewards, Legal, Health & Benefits, and Finance (Tax, Consolidations, Acquisitions and Payroll) as well as critical vendors (Fidelity and Deloitte) to help ensure data accuracy and compliance with plan rules.

Responsibilities:
  • SME leading enterprise projects impacting Long Term Incentive equity awards; project management, execution, lead accounting guidance, financial modeling and analysis, data analytics as determined by the project requirements
  • Global financial reporting, forecasting and analytics for accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements
  • Complete and/or review annual and quartering close reporting
  • Complete valuation calculations for annual and monthly equity awards
  • The individual must be analytical, process-focused and can shift between big-picture orientation and detailed information.
  • They need strong analytical skills to compare and assess large data sets, understand the request/challenge, and design and implement streamlined approaches that reduce non-value-added activities and strengthen processes and controls. Must be a strong business partner able to influence stakeholders on cross-functional teams.
  • Must have the ability to work well in ambiguous circumstances and champion continuous process improvements and benchmark best practices.
  • Must have strong project planning and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive problem solver adept at achieving results individually and working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be able to work in a matrix environment.


Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution is required.
  • A master's degree and/or CPA/CMA is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relative and progressive experience is required.
  • Strong collaboration and analytical skills required.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes Oxley and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, Power BI, Co-Pilot

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000-$127,650

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
