Job Summary:
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Reimbursement and Managed Care team.

While this role is fully remote, preference will be given to candidates residing in Maine or the broader New England region.

In this role, you'll provide expertise in payer contract interpretation, reimbursement modeling, strategic pricing, and payment variance analysis across multiple reimbursement systems.

You'll provide analytical insight and financial expertise that directly support contract performance, reimbursement optimization, and organizational decision-making.

Job Description:

What You'll Do
  • Interpret payer contract terms and translate them into build specifications across multiple reimbursement systems.
  • Analyze payment variances and reimbursement trends to identify systemic issues and support contract maintenance and pricing strategy.
  • Perform contract modeling and financial scenario analysis to support budgeting, strategic pricing adjustments, reimbursement projections, and contract performance evaluation.
  • Support strategic pricing initiatives and reimbursement analysis across commercial and governmental payer agreements.
  • Collaborate with Reimbursement, Managed Care, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and system teams to resolve contract-related issues and ensure alignment with contractual intent.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of healthcare finance, reimbursement, managed care, revenue cycle, or related analytical experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of payer reimbursement methodologies, contract interpretation, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.


Compensation Information:

$64,460 - $112,486

The salary range shown reflects the base salary for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations.
