The Senior Financial Analyst, Consumer Marketing Finance is an experienced individual contributor responsible for leading complex financial planning, forecasting, and analytical activities in support of key business objectives for the Consumer business. This role exercises sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and influences decision-making through data-driven insights and strong business partnership.

The role is expected to independently own major planning processes, develop financial frameworks, and provide strategic and operational finance support to senior business stakeholders. While this position does not have direct people management responsibility, it is expected to provide functional leadership, and guidance to cross-functional partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with business leaders as a trusted finance advisor, providing financial insights to support marketing campaigns, strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and investment trade-offs
  • Own end-to-end financial planning and forecasting for assigned business areas, including annual operating plans, quarterly outlooks, and long-range plans
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance revenue, margin, and ROI models, incorporating key business drivers and scenario analysis
  • Drive preparation of executive-level financial reviews, including dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting with clear financial narratives
  • Lead analysis of month-end and quarter-end results, ensuring accuracy, insight, and alignment with internal controls and reporting standards
  • Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate root causes and implications to senior leadership
  • Identify, design, and implement process, control, and tools improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Lead or play a key role in cross-functional initiatives and special projects, including financial systems implementations and business process enhancements
  • Prepare complex ad hoc analyses to support senior management decision-making and time-sensitive business needs


Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with demonstrated growth in scope and complexity; FP&A experience required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex deliverables and multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex financial data into clear, concise insights for senior and executive-level audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority
  • Track record of process improvement, control enhancement, and analytical rigor
  • High attention to detail combined with the ability to operate at a strategic level

PREFERRED:
  • MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced finance credential
  • Experience supporting revenue, pricing, margin, or GTM-focused organizations
  • Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar)
  • Experience in semiconductor, storage, consumer electronics, or technology manufacturing environments

  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
