Job DescriptionResponsibilities Addendum to Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to lead Revenue and Pricing Management initiatives within our senior housing portfolio. This role is responsible for optimizing pricing strategies, driving occupancy and revenue growth, and delivering actionable insights through advanced financial modeling and market analysis.
Addendum to Essential Functions- Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies across independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities to maximize revenue and occupancy. Evaluate the effectiveness various revenue optimization, pricing and discounting initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and local demand to inform pricing decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with operations, sales, and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with community-level goals and broader organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing scenarios, promotional strategies, and capital investments.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, RevPOR (Revenue Per Occupied Room), and lead-to-move-in conversion rates.
- Provide regular reporting and executive-level presentations with data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure data integrity across systems and continuously improve reporting tools and processes.
Addendum to Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years progressive financial analysis experience, with 1 year in the senior housing, hospitality, healthcare, real estate, or related industry highly desired.
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation highly valued, but not required. - Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL, Oracle, SmartView/Ess-base or similar platforms).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst role is a key regional support role and provides strategic support to all regional teams including Operations, Sales, Clinical, Dining and Asset Management. Through excellent financial acumen, partnership with regional leadership and teams, and strong interpersonal skills this role is a key contributor to the success of the operational results, with a focus primarily in support of operations through market level research to determine appropriate price position.
- Builds models and performs ad-hoc financial analysis for divisional, regional and senior leadership teams.
- Identifies and leads the development of high impact value-add analysis on business drivers, trends and risk/opportunities by utilizing both internal and external data.
- Assists divisional, regional and community teams through projections and annual budgeting cycle.
- Drives analysis of the division's price strength and impact of discount and incentive practices.
- Drives ROI analysis process for New Economics capex proposals.
- Suggests and implements cost reduction targets and tracks progress towards achieving goals.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly and quarterly division and region updates.
- Provides training, as needed, to regional and community teams related to FP&A
