Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst Manufacturing
Job Description
This role offers an experienced Senior Financial Analyst or Finance Supervisor the opportunity to step into a high-impact FP&A Manager position within a manufacturing environment. You will own key plant finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy, while partnering closely with operations and plant leadership. The position provides significant visibility, hands-on exposure to cost accounting and operations, and a clear path toward broader plant finance and FP&A leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis activities for the manufacturing site.
  • Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic business decisions.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Partner closely with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership to improve both financial and operational performance.
  • Support monthly close activities and help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with cost accounting, inventory analysis, and other manufacturing finance initiatives.
  • Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Create executive-level reporting packages and present key business insights to leadership teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvements across financial reporting, planning, and analysis functions.
  • Support ERP system reporting and optimization efforts, including platforms such as SAGE, AS400, or similar systems.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, helping leadership understand financial performance, key business drivers, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and enhance overall plant performance.

Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or manufacturing finance.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, with automotive industry experience considered highly valuable.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience working with large data sets and transforming data into actionable business insights.
  • Solid understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting requirements.

Work Environment
This is an on-site position based in Blanchester, OH, within a collaborative manufacturing environment. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility as business needs require. You will work closely with both finance and operations teams and serve as a key financial partner and trusted advisor to site and regional leadership. The role involves regular use of ERP systems such as SAGE, AS400, or similar platforms, as well as advanced Excel and other analytical tools. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
