The Senior Financial Analyst is a hands-on, business-facing finance professional responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis activities across a multi-site manufacturing organization. This position serves as a key financial partner to Commercial, Product Management, Engineering, and Plant Operations teams, providing actionable insights into product profitability, cost performance, and overall business results.
What You'll Do: - Own monthly P&L, allocation, and product profitability reporting across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
- Analyze actual results against forecast and budget and provide variance explanations.
- Evaluate product costs including materials, labor, and overhead absorption.
- Partner with Commercial, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Support SG&A planning, forecasting, and headcount budgeting.
- Review journal entries, accruals, and reserves supporting financial close activities.
- Prepare management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from leadership.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Provide guidance to Financial Analyst team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We Look For: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience.
- Manufacturing finance experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, overhead absorption, and margin analysis.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- OneStream or similar EPM system experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and business partnership skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in an evolving environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, including occasional international travel.
