Senior Financial AnalystThe Opportunity The
Senior Financial Analyst works out of our
Irving, TX location. The role is responsible for supporting key aspects of our cost and operational accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and sustaining a strong internal control environment across multiple operational areas.
The position plays a critical role in month-end close, fixed asset management, inventory and costing activities, capital and expense tracking, and ongoing balance sheet integrity. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, accurate financial insights while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and operational requirements.
What You'll Work On - Lead fixed assets, Construction in Progress (CIP), inventory, and cost accounting processes, including asset lifecycle management (additions, transfers, retirements) and annual physical inventory
- Manage capital project and CIP accounting by tracking actuals, accruals, and ensuring proper classification, reconciliation, and reporting of capital expenditures
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, cost allocations, and preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting
- Maintain data integrity within Oracle ERP and ensure accurate system interactions across accounting and operational processes
- Oversee inventory accounting and controls, including material movements, cycle counts, ABC stratification, consignment inventory, and audit procedures
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across key accounts such as inventory, CIP, prepaids, consignment, and accrued liabilities
- Ensure accuracy of standard costing, including cost rollups, price updates, and coordination of transfer pricing activities
- Strengthen internal controls, ensure SOX compliance, and maintain audit readiness across all accounting processes
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and audit teams to drive issue resolution, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial outcomes
- Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives to enhance data accuracy, reporting quality, and reduce manual effort
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA is a plus
- 5 years in accounting, finance, or related field
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Deep knowledge of costing, inventory, and reconciliation processes
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
- Advanced data analytics and systems proficiency (Excel, Tableau, ERP applications)

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 - $156,000.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
