This position reports to:Finance Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise and business support to the Pinetops manufacturing plant. Each day, you will analyze key financial metrics, identify trends and risks, and partner with business stakeholders to drive financial performance and operational excellence. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions that improve profitability, productivity, and decision-making .
The work model for the role is onsite in the Pinetops, NC Manufacturing Facility (#LI-Onsite).
You will be mainly accountable for:- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Perform profitability analysis, including volume mix, material cost, and margin variances.
- Lead and support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Monitor cost center performance and analyze variances.
- Prepare financial analyses, account reconciliations, and management reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Partner with operations and business teams to improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and governance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and reporting.

Qualifications for the role:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 6+ years of accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in material costing analysis, BOM and routing reviews, standard cost roll-up activities, and product cost estimation within SAP manufacturing environments.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and business leadership teams.
- Experience supporting physical inventory verification, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations is a strong advantage.
- Candidates must already possess work authorization that permits employment with ABB in the United States.
