About the job Senior Financial Advisor
Job Summary The Senior Financial Advisor serves as the lead advisor for assigned clients, providing comprehensive financial planning and strategic guidance across retirement, tax, estate, investment, insurance, charitable and education planning. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, leading the planning process for assigned clients, coordinating planning and investment management implementation with clients and professional partners, and helping drive firm growth through mentorship, collaboration, and business development.
Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as the lead advisor and primary relationship manager for assigned clients.
- Lead the financial planning process for clients, developing and implementing comprehensive strategies across retirement, tax, estate, insurance, education, charitable, and investment planning.
- Conduct client meetings, communicate complex planning concepts clearly, and guide clients through recommendations and implementations.
- Identify and address planning opportunities across retirement, tax, estate, insurance, education, charitable and investment planning
- Coordinate with attorneys, tax preparers, insurance professionals, and other advisors to support implementation of client recommendations.
- Contribute to firm growth through business development, process improvement, and participation in strategic initiatives.
- Mentor Advisors and Associate Advisors through coaching, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements and Qualifications- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. CPA is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 7+ years of experience in comprehensive financial planning in a wealth management or RIA environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across retirement, tax, estate, insurance, charitable, and equity compensation planning.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (remote and onsite in Solana Beach, CA)
