Full Job Description
The Role:

We're hiring a Senior Finance & Accounting Manager, reporting to the CEO, to be our strategic finance partner, building models and directly influencing decisions, while owning our core accounting processes. If you want full ownership of a finance function and move easily between strategy and hands-on accounting, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fully remote role based in the U.S.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statement prep, ensuring the books are accurate and audit-ready
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR and vendor/expense management
  • Handle state and local tax compliance (sales tax, franchise tax, business registrations)
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, People, and Leadership to help shape key financial decisions and influence business strategy
  • Build and maintain budgets & financial models
  • Own cash flow visibility and monthly/quarterly forecasting to support leadership decision-making
  • Prepare financial reporting and analysis for leadership and board meetings
  • Identify and implement process improvements as the company scales
  • Curious and proactive about using AI and modern tools to work smarter, not just harder
  • Partner with the People & Culture Manager on payroll (as approver), compensation, and state/insurance administration - with Finance owning sales tax and tax account management.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience spanning both accounting and finance/FP&A
  • Strong ownership of monthly close, reconciliations, tax compliance, and core accounting fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Comfort operating as a lean team of one - capable of context-switching between transactional accounting work and strategic analysis
  • Experience partnering directly with cross-functional teams such as Sales, RevOps, People, or GTM teams
  • Strong MS Excel or Google Suite products and modeling skills
  • Experience with Rillet, Rippling, Databrick a plus
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable presenting analysis and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders and leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent a plus but not required
