Full Job Description
Requisition Summary

This is a multi-craft position responsible for routine maintenance of industrial building systems, equipment, and construction projects. Requires independent judgment under moderate supervision. Provides direction, guidance, and training to junior specialists as appropriate. Work is reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and soundness of technical judgment. May provide back-up support for group supervisor.

Division Information

The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance and repairs to electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, fire, lighting, security, mechanical, and control systems
  • Troubleshoots all types of building systems and makes repairs as required.
  • Plans, coordinates, and installs new and replacement facility equipment per manufacturers specifications and applicable local and national codes
  • Works with and directs contractors, vendors, and makes reports to supervisor
  • Coordinates with contractors and vendors performing routine and regulatory inspections and maintenance
  • Keeps maintenance records up-to-date and makes reports to supervisor


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of applicable experience
  • Knowledge of complex industrial building systems and equipment.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work with others, follow and give directions, flexibility to respond to priority demands
  • Washington State Drivers license required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Tolerate working indoors, outdoors, at heights, in trenches and in enclosed areas
  • Lift and carry 25 pounds
  • Tolerate working in areas of high noise with hearing protection
  • Able to operate or learn to operate manlift, forklift, rental equipment


Education

AA degree in Engineering, Technology, or Maintenance or a history of applicable work experience

Additional Job Board Information

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Senior Facilities Specialist is $70,500 - $105,800 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
