What this job involves:The Senior Facilities Manager provides senior operational oversight across an assigned Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) portfolio. This role supports consistent service delivery, escalation management, vendor performance, work order discipline, compliance routines, financial controls, and stakeholder communication across multiple locations.
Day-to-day site operations are led by local Facility Managers. This role provides the senior oversight layer, helping ensure local teams are aligned, supported, and executing consistently across the assigned portfolio.
This role is designed to strengthen consistency, escalation discipline, and leadership coverage across a distributed portfolio while allowing local Facility Managers to retain day-to-day site ownership.
What your day-to-day will look like:- Portfolio Oversight: Provide senior oversight across assigned sites, partnering with local Facility Managers and site teams to ensure operational priorities, service delivery, stakeholder communication, and vendor performance remain aligned with account expectations.
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Provide guidance to Facility Managers, Assistant Facility Managers, coordinators, vendors, and site support teams. Set expectations for responsiveness, documentation, escalation discipline, safety, customer service, and ownership.
- Service Delivery Governance: Monitor facilities operations across assigned sites, including building operations, maintenance coordination, janitorial, workplace support, vendor services, and customer-facing facilities support. Ensure local teams execute in alignment with JLL standards, client expectations, account procedures, and service levels.
- Work Order & CMMS Oversight: Review CMMS activity, aging tickets, preventive maintenance completion, repeat issues, and service trends. Use work order data to identify gaps, improve planning, and support performance reporting.
- Vendor & Technical Coordination: Oversee vendor performance, scope execution, proposal review, corrective actions, and service quality. Support technical coordination related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, building automation, general maintenance, and other building systems.
- Stakeholder Communication: Support local site leaders in communicating service impacts, escalations, planned work, incidents, risks, and business impacts to client stakeholders and internal account partners.
- Compliance, Risk & Financial Support: Support safety compliance, audit readiness, incident response, corrective action tracking, business continuity planning, invoice review, budget tracking, cost control, and savings identification.

Required qualifications- 7-10 years of progressive facilities management, workplace services, property operations, engineering operations, or Integrated Facilities Management experience
- Experience overseeing multi-site facilities operations or distributed service delivery teams
- Experience coaching Facility Managers, Assistant Facility Managers, vendors, and site support teams
- Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, building automation, maintenance, and facility operations
- Experience using CMMS platforms such as Corrigo, ServiceNow, Maximo, or similar systems
- Strong vendor management, service delivery, stakeholder communication, financial tracking, and escalation management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Smartsheet, dashboards, and workflow tracking tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to urgent operational matters, and communicate clearly under pressure
- Ability to travel periodically across assigned portfolio locations as needed
Preferred qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field
- IFMA CFM, FMP, SFP, PMP, OSHA 30, BOMI, LEED, or related certification
- Experience in outsourced service delivery or corporate real estate environments
- Experience supporting complex corporate, R&D, technology, manufacturing, warehouse, or mixed-use facilities
- Experience with planned maintenance, shutdown coordination, incident management, emergency response, root cause analysis, and business continuity support
- Knowledge of service level agreements, vendor KPIs, procurement processes, account governance, and financial controls
- Strong leadership presence, organizational discipline, follow-up capability, and ability to influence without direct authority
Portfolio scopeThis role provides senior facilities oversight for an assigned multi-site portfolio, including PA, NJ, TN, KY, OH, MS, AR, IN, and WV.

Estimated compensation for this position:130,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
