Full Job Description
Purpose:

The Expeditor is responsible for monitoring purchase orders to ensure materials and required documents are delivered on time and in alignment with project schedules. This role coordinates with vendors and project teams to maintain supplier performance, mitigate delays and support overall project objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively communicates with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
  • Expedites vendor-related production, tracks manufacturing progress and delays, verify shipping schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Schedule kick-off and biweekly meetings after purchase order issuance to establish requirements, expectations and point of contact.
  • Ensure schedule is being maintained by the vendor and deliverables are being provided
  • Resolve issues with late deliveries, discrepancies in quality or quantity, or failure to meet commercial requirements of the order.
  • Coordinate with supplier and logistics to coordinate transportation of materials.
  • Ensure all changes to the order cost and/or schedule are clearly communicated.
  • Inform the project team of any potential impacts on schedule.
  • Oversee close-out of the order.
  • Coordinate inspections.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or a related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, or a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of recent, hands-on experience in a dedicated Expeditor role, with primary responsibility for monitoring vendor progress, schedules, deliverables, and on-time delivery.
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas EPC industry is highly preferred.

  • EPC project experience
