Vantor is looking to add an Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) developer to join our team in Northern, VA
Your Project: We're a diverse, strong team of developers and analysts supporting an enterprise-level analytic and visualization tool that serves vast amounts of time-critical data to a broad user base in support of national security. Our ETL team develops pipelines to bring in data from across the community in development and production environments to support users across the globe.
Responsibilities:You will be providing software development support in a secure environment utilizing a variety of language and platforms including:
- PostgreSQL/PostGIS database interaction
- Maintenance and development of a custom Python-based ETL framework
- Scripting/automated gathering of new data sources
Minimum Qualifications:- Must be a U.S. citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, geography or related field or four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Python
- Experience in Bash scripting
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Basic knowledge of HTTP
Preferred Qualifications:- Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts.
- Experience with ESRI server and services in cloud environment
- Experience with ESRI's ArcGIS Javascript API and/or other GIS software applications
- DevOps certification
- Understanding of REST
- Experience operating in AWS/C2S
- Understanding of SSL/TLS

The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $140,000.00 - $187,000.00 - $205,700.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
