We are looking for an adaptable, driven
Senior Estimator who desires to be part of a dynamic team with company values centered around teamwork, ownership, and professionalism.
Essential Duties:- Collaborate & negotiate with with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle
- Maintain accurate documentation & records
- Develop and submit competitive budgets and bids
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Analyze methods & costs data
- Perform quantity takeoffs and scope reviews
- Participate in industry, client & estimating events
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in estimating processes
- Assist with preparing economic feasibility studies
- Provide mentoring & training support for junior staff
Position RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Construction Management
- Building codes & regulations
- Read & interpret blueprints
- Contract & data analysis
- Estimating Software Applications
- Budget & bid preparation
Education/Experience:- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in construction management, or a related field preferred
- Specialized training or education focused on estimating is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience as an Estimator with a commercial general contracting firm
