Position Description:

We are seeking a Senior ERP Functional Business Analyst (HRM/Payroll) - Advantage to join our CGI team for an ERP modernization project.

This is an exciting full time career opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment on technology systems in supporting our Public Sector clients working side by side in a collaborative environment for modernizing existing technologies and practices.

You will serve as a Senior ERP Functional Business Analyst (HRM/Payroll) on our ERP projects for government clients. The successful candidate must have an understanding of at least five of the key areas in ERP systems:

This preferred position is in San Deigo, CA however for the right skillset remote can be considered. Must be willing to work PST hours. Please note some minimal travel may be required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact

. Lead business process workshops and requirements sessions to define future state HR and Payroll solutions aligned with organizational objectives

. Plan and manage functional activities and resources to deliver functional specifications, process documentation, and other project deliverables

. Lead fit gap analysis to evaluate current business processes and design optimized future state HR and Payroll processes

. Develop business concepts and functional designs to support evolving client requirements and maximize use of ERP capabilities

. Analyze and resolve functional issues while providing guidance and support to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle

. Develop and execute testing strategies for Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, End to End Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing activities

. Design, validate, and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytics to meet HR, Payroll, and Business Intelligence requirements

. Collaborate independently with business stakeholders to prepare for workshops, facilitate discussions, and provide trusted advisory support on HR and Payroll processes and ERP functionality

. Partner with cross functional teams to ensure successful integration of HR and Payroll processes with Finance, Benefits, Time and Attendance, and other enterprise functions

. Provide leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior analysts while promoting best practices and continuous process improvement

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring

. 6 years of experience implementing ERP solutions such as CGI Advantage, SAP, Workday, or PeopleSoft, with a strong focus on HR and Payroll processes; Finance experience is a plus

. Strong preference for experience with CGI Advantage and familiarity with public sector ERP implementations

. Agile implementation experience with Agile certifications (e.g., SAFE) preferred

. Proven ability to support business process re engineering, organizational change management, and cross functional initiatives

. Ability to quickly gain proficiency in CGI's government ERP solutions and adapt to evolving project environments

. Willingness and ability to travel within the US West region as required

Technical and Functional Skills:
. Lead and perform functional activities across all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

. Facilitate requirements gathering and translate business needs into functional designs, user stories, and other project deliverables

. Develop test plans, coordinate test execution, and support defect resolution activities

. Lead peer reviews and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality and alignment with business objectives

. Analyze HR and Payroll business issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions

. Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, facilitation, presentation, and mentoring skills

. Effectively collaborate within virtual and cross functional teams while managing competing priorities and deadlines

. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high degree of self motivation

Desired qualifications:
. Team oriented with a strong customer service mindset

. Experience supporting change management and process improvement initiatives

. Familiarity with User Centered Design principles

. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and project team members and contribute to a collaborative project environment

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $139,300.00.
