We are looking foraSeniorEquipmentEngineering Technicianto join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role willreporttoEquipment Engineering Senior Managerand based inFremont CA. Thisis a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support equipment across various manufacturing lines, with differing levels of complexity
- Skilled in diagnosing and fixinghigh speed automatedmanufacturing equipment
- Provide support for equipment through PLC and HMI programming, encompassing motion and servo control systems
- Ability tomodifyexisting control logic to improve safety,performanceor throughput
- Participate in commissioning of new automated equipment and ensure all devices function as designed
- Installation,commissioningand support of vision systems for tracking and quality inspections
- Oversee equipment installation as well as start-up and implementation projects
- Validate new product designs, equipment, and processes with engineering teams
- Analyze Production Data to find ways to boost safety, cut costs, enhance efficiency, and raise quality.
- Drive investigations and root cause analysis for quality issues
- Collect and analyze mechanical and electrical test data with engineering teams
Skills and Experience:
- 9+ years ofhigh capacitymanufacturing environment preferred
- Associate degree or technicalcertification in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenancerequiredor equivalent relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineeringdisciplinepreferredbut notrequired
- Experience with Automated Equipment.
- Functional knowledge of PLCs, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, industrial control panels, electronic sensors,pneumaticsand hydraulics
- Equipment requirement development and specification writing
- Knowledge of ergonomic and machine safety standards
- Knowledge ofAutocad,Solidworksand MS Office suite
- Strong communicationand collaboration skills
- Good Attendance, Initiative, responsible follow through and a willingness to help.
- Must be flexible with changingshiftor workschedule.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk for up to8-10hours per shift
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 25lbs
- Use hands and fingers tooperatemachinery controls and computers throughout the shift
- Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials
- Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
- Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots)

Salary Ranges:$41.19 - $59.27
