This position reports directly to the Safety Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation and maintenance of EHS policies, programs, and procedures.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and recordkeeping requirements.
- Deliver safety training and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitor safety metrics and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Support workers' compensation and return-to-work processes as needed.
- Assist with environmental compliance programs and reporting activities.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or a related environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, environmental regulations, and safety best practices.
- Strong investigation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications (ASP, CSP, CHMM, or similar) are a plus.

Expected Hiring Range: $78,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Starting Salary: $78,000 annually.
