Summary

Drive environmental excellence and shape the future of sustainability across our Foods operations. As the Senior Environmental Analytics and Standardization Manager, you will lead enterprise-wide environmental compliance initiatives while driving consistency, standardization, and continuous improvement across multiple facilities. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with cross-functional teams, operational leaders, and sustainability stakeholders to develop and implement environmental policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance strategic sustainability priorities. Working closely with the Director of Sustainability and the Environmental Analytics and Standardization Manager for Perdue Agribusiness, you will help create a unified One Perdue approach to environmental standards and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, data-driven leader who is passionate about environmental stewardship, building strong partnerships, and delivering meaningful impact across the organization.

The salary range for this position is $114,000 - $170,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead enterprise-wide development and implementation of standardized policies and procedures, including an environmental management system (non-certified).
  • Manage the collection and visualization of data needed for compliance and sustainability reporting through the use of Perdue internal data-gathering and management tools.
  • Collaborate with Environmental Leadership using compliance and sustainability reporting data.
  • Provide compliance support and guidance to Regional Environmental Managers and Environmental Managers and act as an advisor.
  • Cover regional responsibilities during staffing gaps.
  • Train new Regional Environmental Managers.
  • Oversee onboarding of Environmental Managers.


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent related work experience in environmental science or a related discipline.
  • 9-15 years of related work experience.
  • Technical experience in environmental regulations, environmental compliance, environmental permitting, project management, and energy utility consumption.
  • Demonstrated competency in problem solving, negotiating, managing people, and establishing and meeting schedules.
  • Progressive leadership experience related to environmental compliance.
  • Ability to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings.
  • Adequate computer skills with Microsoft Office and data tools such as Power BI.


Preferred Education and Experience
  • Technical experience with environmental management systems.
  • Water and wastewater operations experience.


Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
  • Work actively at project and plant sites to observe and design processes or procedures.
  • Move equipment occasionally.
  • Access files, supplies, and equipment.
  • Work at any company facility.
  • Work in office, construction, poultry processing, feed mill, grain handling, crush facility, vegetable oil refinery, hatchery, and wastewater treatment environments.
  • Move through the complex and all facilities.
  • Be exposed to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • Be exposed to temperatures ranging from 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with ambient and up to 100% humidity.
  • Be exposed to noise levels ranging from 50 dB to 110 dB.
  • Be exposed to chemicals used in poultry, food, and vegetable oil processing functions.
  • Wear and use protective and safety equipment as required by the Company.
  • Work in confined spaces, permitted areas, and at heights over 100 feet.
  • Work on and around operating equipment.
