Senior Enterprise Advisor

Location: United States Work Arrangement: Remote

About the Role

The Senior Enterprise Advisor is a key member of Hyland's pre-sales organization — identifying, shaping, and advancing qualified pipeline by uncovering customer business challenges, connecting those challenges to Hyland capabilities, and translating advisory insights into actionable opportunity strategies.

This role leverages approved AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve preparation, discovery, synthesis, deliverable development, reporting, and reusable knowledge assets — while maintaining company data protection standards and customer confidentiality at all times.

In close partnership with Sales, Customer Success, Services, Product, and Marketing, the Senior Enterprise Advisor helps grow qualified pipeline, expand customer value, and support strategic account progression through business discovery, advisory workshops, executive-ready recommendations, and scalable advising practices.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
  • Identify, develop, and advance qualified advisory services and software expansion opportunities in partnership with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Services stakeholders — influencing pipeline growth by uncovering customer business challenges, connecting them to Hyland capabilities, and positioning advisory-led next steps.
  • Plan, facilitate, and synthesize strategic customer workshops that uncover business priorities, operational challenges, technology gaps, and opportunities for expanded Hyland value — applying standardized advising methodologies, templates, and facilitation practices to ensure consistent, high-quality customer engagements.
  • Translate complex customer needs, operational pain points, and strategic priorities into clear business-value narratives for executive, sales, services, and delivery audiences — supporting pre-sales account strategy with customer insights, workshop findings, business value themes, and recommended opportunity paths.
  • Leverage approved AI tools to improve productivity, synthesize customer discovery, draft workshop deliverables, identify patterns across engagements, and scale advisory insights — contributing to the development of reusable AI-enabled prompts, templates, knowledge assets, and advisory workflows that improve consistency and efficiency across the team.
  • Share customer trends, product feedback, market insights, and field themes with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Services stakeholders — informing go-to-market strategy, solution positioning, and advisory offerings.
  • Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members — acting as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders by leveraging deep expertise to identify business challenges, guide solution discussions, and recommend value-driven outcomes.
Role Essentials

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree with significant experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), vertical or horizontal solutions, and solution delivery — combined with a strong foundation in pre-sales motions, pipeline development, account strategy, and customer discovery
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating customer workshops, discovery sessions, strategic planning meetings, or cross-functional advisory engagements — with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, executive-ready business-value narratives
  • Proven experience supporting pre-sales motions including pipeline development, account strategy, customer discovery, business-value storytelling, and opportunity progression — in close collaboration with Sales and Services teams
  • Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to synthesize information, generate business-facing deliverables, improve workflow efficiency, or support customer advisory activities — with a commitment to responsible use and data protection standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and drive consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels — paired with strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deliverable-driven environment
What We'd Like to See

Bonus points if you bring:

  • Proficiency with Hyland solutions, enterprise content management platforms, CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms — or equivalent experience in a comparable technology environment
  • Experience collecting feedback and serving as a trusted advisor to customers and partners — with a demonstrated ability to identify business challenges and recommend value-driven outcomes at scale
  • A track record of contributing to reusable knowledge assets, advisory workflows, templates, and AI-enabled prompts that improve team consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and apply AI across pre-sales preparation, customer research, workshop analysis, follow-up recommendations, and internal reporting
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 33% of the time to support customer engagements, workshops, and strategic account activities
