Title: Sr. Engineering Technician
Duration: 6 months
Location: San Francisco, CA
Benefits: Employee benefits at 100% including Medical, PTO, Holiday Pay, 401K Plan and much more!
Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week

Responsibilities
  • Assembly, test, debug and rework of compact electro-mechanical systems including fine-pitched soldering, small scale paste/reflow; custom cables and adapters; sub-cm
  • enclosures with plastic/metal/composite materials
  • Order, use and maintain electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and standard-specific compliance testers
  • Develop and maintain build & debug procedures for prototypes
  • Operation and debug of automated component test and data collection systems
  • Engage and manage fabrication vendors to deliver components, PCB/PCBAs, metal/plastic parts for prototypes
  • Manage lab space, equipment, supplies, inventory

Qualifications
  • Soldering/reflow expertise, down to 01005/QFN/BGA 300 um pitch
  • Understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings
  • Comfortable selecting, operating, maintaining benchtop electrical test equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Safety conscious, dependable and positive attitude
  • Ability and interest to solve problems outside of your expertise
