Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Delivery Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of complex engineering initiatives. This role serves as the single point of accountability for delivery, driving execution from work intake through production release. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional Agile delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and execution skills to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end delivery across multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring commitments, timelines, quality, and business objectives are consistently achieved.
• Drive execution with urgency by proactively identifying, managing, and resolving delivery risks and dependencies.
• Maintain real-time visibility into delivery progress across features, milestones, teams, and releases.
• Ensure delivery gaps are identified and resolved before they impact project timelines.
• Build, manage, and enforce structured work intake, prioritization, and backlog management processes.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value while protecting engineering capacity from unplanned work and scope changes.
• Adapt delivery plans quickly to changing priorities while maintaining execution stability.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) planning.
• Ensure backlog readiness with clearly defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint commitments.
• Continuously improve Agile delivery practices, execution discipline, and team performance.
• Serve as the primary delivery contact for client stakeholders and business partners.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering leaders, and clients to align roadmaps, priorities, scope, and release plans.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Partner with technical leads to ensure architecture, solution design, and engineering execution align with delivery objectives.
• Work closely with engineering teams to break large initiatives into well-defined, actionable work items.
• Track features through development, testing, deployment, and production readiness.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, QA, and business teams.
• Establish delivery governance, reporting, and continuous improvement processes to enhance execution predictability.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading delivery of complex software engineering or technology initiatives.
• Strong technical background with prior hands-on software engineering or equivalent technical experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading Agile software development teams in Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe environments.
• Experience managing end-to-end software delivery across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Strong expertise in Agile planning, backlog management, sprint execution, and release management.
• Experience participating in Program Increment (PI) Planning or large-scale Agile delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, and rapidly changing business needs.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to proactively identify risks and drive successful resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
