Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEWThis position is responsible for developing and executing the assigned portfolio of projects that will support continuous improvements of safety, reliability, facility optimization, and other values (e.g., production, risk reduction, environmental improvements, etc.). The projects will be managed and executed under the guidelines of Cheniere Corporate and site-specific project development and execution processes. The Senior Engineer, Projects is also responsible for the safe and efficient development and execution of capital and expense projects at the facility. These projects will be delivered maintaining Cheniere's core values: teamwork, respect, accountability, integrity, nimble, and safety.
This is a Non-Dot position.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Manages a portfolio of projects and provides key input into the 5-year CAPEX plan for the site.
- Manage all phases of project development and execution with an emphasis on safety and performance specifications.
- Supports all phases of the project and leads the coordination of work including, safety, process design, front-end engineering and design, detailed design, procurement, cost control, schedules, quality, construction planning, execution planning, and commissioning.
- Coordinate, plan, schedule, and execute technical activities for assigned plant projects. Monitor and control expenditures within the limitations of the project budget. Prepare interim and completion project reports.
- Ability to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers, and designers from engineering and construction contractors assigned to projects.
- Ensures the technical integrity of the project, including compliance with the project scope, specifications, sound engineering judgment, and Cheniere basic engineering design documents. Assure as built and project close-out documentation is completed and stored in document control systems.
- Thoroughly understand and comply with the technical Management of Change (MOC) process and utilize it in support of capital projects and routine facility changes.
- Deliver projects that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient LNG operations which are executed on time and on budget.
- Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures following the highest ethical standards.
- Participate in regulatory agency audits.
- Reinforce safety and environmental awareness through frequent job observations and by interfacing with plant personnel.
- Work with the Engineering and Construction department to provide support and ensure O&M interests are represented on major projects. Participates in equipment factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs).
- Interact with and support Commercial Operations, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments as required.
- Complete site walk-downs to support project development requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Knowledge:The individual should have a broad understanding of project development & management through a stage-gated approach to progress an opportunity from Project Feasibility to Design and development to its Implementation and commissioning. The individual shall also possess a very sound knowledge of the Management of Change (MOC) processes to identify and manage risks arising from the implementation of the proposed Projects (predominantly Brownfield Projects). Experience with Design and Engineering activities related to oil refining, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, hydrocarbon pipelines, or LNG processing, storage, and transportation is required.

- Accomplished public speaker, able to create and deliver industry-specific presentations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education, Training, and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical). Project and financial (Budget) Management education such as PMP certification is desirable.
Experience: Five (5) to Ten (10) years' experience as a Project Engineer out of which a minimum of two (2) years' experience shall be at an operating facility such as oil refining, petrochemical or specialty chemical plant, midstream storage, or LNG facility. Recent experience with LNG is preferred, however, refining, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable.

FREEDOM TO ACTThe Senior Engineer, Projects requires minimal to no supervision on their daily assignments.
WORK CONDITIONS - The job is performed in an industrial plant environment.
- Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.
- Limited travel required, as business conditions dictate.
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, or hear, smell, type, and write.
- Must be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200+ steps), scale a vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height, and lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors, and be exposed to year-round weather conditions, ocean environment, and noise. There is a considerable amount of outdoor activity involved.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Required to obtain mandated certification by attending Company-sponsored training in basic first aid, and CPR.
- Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.
- May be required to work overtime.
- Required to pass regularly scheduled physical examinations mandated by regulatory authorities.
- Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.
