Full Job Description
This role focuses on strengthening Dry Etch manufacturing performance by reducing operational risk and building stable, predictable capacity. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Process Development, Industrial Engineering, and Operations to improve cycle time, throughput, and redundancy while supporting aggressive program timelines. Your work directly influences fab performance and development success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead capacity planning, floor scheduling, and line management for the Dry Etch area
- Identify and resolve systemic Dry Etch area issues affecting throughput, cycle time, and operational risk
- Drive area performance using clear metrics, risk assessments, and data-informed capital decisions
- Partner with Industrial Engineering, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Operations to evaluate capacity scenarios and mitigation plans
- Lead safety and quality efforts including audits, good catches, and human QDR follow-up
- Analyze operational data to communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain considered
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment capacity planning for Dry Etch process
- Demonstrated experience in fab operations, capacity planning, floor scheduling, and line management systems
- Proven ability to independently lead and manage multiple priorities and continuously learn in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience supporting Dry Etch processes
- Experience developing or deploying area-level operational management tools or techniques
- Background validating planning assumptions or supporting area-level strategic planning
- Experience driving consistent manufacturing procedures across cross-functional teams and with senior leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
