Full Job Description
The AWS Executive Briefing Center (EBC) connects C-level customer executives with AWS leaders to accelerate strategic partnerships and drive business outcomes. We are seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to own and deliver executive engagements across our Seattle briefing center, designing tailored experiences that align customer priorities with AWS capabilities and advance long-term relationships.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to AWS account teams and a trusted engagement lead for senior customer executives. You will manage the full lifecycle of executive engagements, from consultative discovery and agenda design through participant preparation, day-of execution, and post-engagement follow-through. You will work directly with C-suite customers and AWS leaders, translating complex business challenges into compelling engagement strategies that deliver measurable results.

This is not a traditional program management role. You will operate with significant autonomy, exercising independent judgment on engagement design, customer prioritization, and resource trade-offs. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, manages a large portfolio without sacrificing quality, and brings a builder mentality to improving how AWS engages its most strategic customers.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of a high-volume portfolio of executive engagements, from qualification and discovery through execution and follow-up, ensuring each engagement advances customer relationships and business outcomes
• Serve as a strategic advisor to account teams, leading consultative intake sessions to define engagement objectives, architect content strategies, and align AWS executive participants to customer priorities
• Facilitate world-class engagement experiences for C-suite customers and AWS VP-level executives, managing day-of execution, hospitality coordination, and real-time adjustments
• Conduct customer research (earnings calls, 10-Ks, industry trends, competitive landscape) to inform engagement design and ensure differentiated, relevant positioning
• Manage cross-functional coordination across sales, technical, product marketing, and executive leadership organizations to deliver cohesive engagement experiences
• Define and track engagement success metrics, capturing customer feedback, pipeline impact, and relationship progression to continuously improve program delivery
• Develop and iterate scalable engagement frameworks, templates, and operating procedures that enable the team to maintain quality at increasing volume
• Mentor junior Engagement Managers, raising the bar on strategic engagement design and customer outcomes
• Partner with leadership to shape program strategy, identify opportunities, and drive operational improvements across the program

A day in the life

Your week balances hands-on customer engagement with strategic planning. On a given day, you might lead a C-suite briefing session with an AWS VP, then consult with an account team on a multi-engagement sequence for a renewal opportunity. Between engagements, you review pipeline data, prepare AWS executives for upcoming sessions, refine engagement templates, or mentor a team member on discovery techniques. You work closely with program managers, site leaders, product marketing, and sales across a global program. The work is fast-paced, cross-functional, and directly tied to customer business outcomes.

About the team

The AWS Executive Briefing Center team plans and delivers strategic executive engagements that connect senior customer executives with AWS leaders for discussion-led conversations. We design tailored experiences across multiple formats, from single-session briefings to multi-touch engagement journeys, aligned to customer business priorities and lifecycle stage. Our five sites serve customers across industries worldwide. This role reports to the Head of the Global Executive Briefing Program and works closely with program managers, site leaders, product marketing, and engineering partners building the next generation of engagement tools.
