Must be eligible to work in the U.S. - Sponsorship not availablePosition Overview:The Senior Energy Engineer supports the development and implementation of energy efficiency projects across various building systems. This role includes conducting on-site assessments, performing energy and engineering analyses, and identifying cost-effective conservation strategies. Projects may involve mechanical, electrical, lighting, controls, power, and water systems. The Senior Energy Engineer also contributes to system design recommendations, building modeling, and ongoing performance verification.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with the Energy Services team to develop and implement energy conservation solutions.
- Assist in defining project scopes and preparing client proposals.
- Conduct facility audits to identify opportunities for energy and water efficiency.
- Recommend and document energy-saving measures for existing facilities.
- Perform building energy modeling and evaluate performance using industry-standard tools.
- Estimate potential energy and operational savings.
- Collaborate with project managers and estimators to support accurate cost projections.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of proposed solutions.
- Support measurement and verification activities to confirm projected savings.
- Coordinate with utility providers to pursue applicable rebates and incentives.
- Identify potential project risks and collaborate with the team to address them proactively.
- Ensure documentation aligns with internal standards and contractual requirements.
- Review technical drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
- Participate in proposal development, bidding, and procurement processes.
- Maintain clear, respectful, and proactive communication with colleagues and clients.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Reflect the organization's values in all professional interactions.
- Develop detailed energy models for new and existing facilities.
- Apply applicable energy codes, standards, and best practices during project development.

- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential is a plus.
- LEED accreditation is preferred.
Required Licensing and Other Certifications: - Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
