Opportunity Overview

As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the development of integrated mechanical and power system designs for advanced semiconductor test equipment. This role requires strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, combining mechanical design expertise with electrical and power system integration to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

  • Lead the design and development of electro-mechanical subsystems, integrating mechanical structures with power distribution and electrical components
  • Translate system-level requirements into robust, manufacturable designs that meet performance, reliability, and safety standards
  • Collaborate closely with electrical and systems engineers on power distribution, cabling, grounding, and component integration
  • Design and package electrical hardware (e.g., breakers, relays, contactors, PLCs) within mechanical architecture
  • Drive prototype build, test, and debug activities, owning issues through root cause and resolution
  • Support product development lifecycle activities, including design reviews, DFM/DFA, and supplier engagement

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of electro-mechanical design experience
  • Strong mechanical design expertise across sheet metal, machined components, and structural/thermal considerations
  • Proven experience integrating electrical and power systems into mechanical designs, including high-voltage or 3-phase systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical infrastructure such as cabling, harnessing, grounding, breakers, relays, and PLCs
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and product data management systems
  • Experience with prototype build, system-level debugging, and cross-functional collaboration in product development environments


Additional Information

  • Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment or similar complex systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of power distribution architecture, EMI/EMC, grounding, or FEA analysis is beneficial
  • This is an on-site role with regular collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $133,800 - $214,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
