Position Title: Senior Electrical Sustaining and Integration Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA

Work Arrangement: On-site

Position Summary:

DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Senior Electrical Sustaining/Integration Engineer who will be a hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of DZYNE's aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will investigate hardware issues, develop test fixtures and solutions, perform system integration and avionics/electronic system validation. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.

Required Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead investigation of field failures/issues on flight hardware and drive root-cause analysis to closure

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting, validating, and analyzing electronic components/subsystems/systems
  • Understanding of Analog/Mixed-signal, Digital, or RF circuit components
  • Hands-on experience with hardware/firmware/software integration
  • Detailed working knowledge of common test equipment

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience in designing electronics and/or circuit boards
  • Hands-on experience with system integration and aircraft systems highly desired
  • Experience working in small to medium sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environment
  • Familiar with MIL spec hardware and harnessing standards

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Clearance Level Required: No Security Clearance is required, but it is highly desired

Travel Required: Not required for daily activities, but probable travel once per quarter

Physical Demands:

This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.

Work Authorization Requirement:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 annually

Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
