Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Support and mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
  • Perform Peer Quality reviews with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Create Bill of Materials (BOM) associated with projects.
  • Develop and review wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and three-line diagrams.
  • Ensure designs comply with Siemens Standard Design Guidelines and applicable regulations.

  • Prepare Design Approval & Certified Drawing Packages for Customer and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative team environment.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members to enhance their skill set.
  • Perform Peer Quality review with high degree of accuracy.
  • Create BOM associated with projects.
  • Create and review wiring diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Three Line Diagrams for GMSG and SIMOVAC.
  • Ensure all designs meet Siemens Standard Design Guideline and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing Liaison team, and internal Project Engineer team.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related field) plus Five (5) or more years of experience creating drawings for switchgear design for manufacturing environment -OR- Associate's degree in electrical engineering (or related field) plus Eight (8) or more years of direct experience.
  • Proven experience designing medium voltage switchgear, detailed wiring diagrams, schematics, one- and three- line drawing, and other manufacturing drawings specifically including switchgear.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of control concepts.
  • Strong understanding of breaker control wiring, protection relays, NEC /IEEE/UL and other electrical design standards related to switchgear.
  • Experience with AUTOCAD, EBASE, EPLAN, SAP, SHAREPOINT & MS OFFICE.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of Siemens switchgear products or other switchgear brands.

The pay range for this position is $74,970 - $128,520 annually with a target incentive of 5 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
